Sales Terms and Conditions
The ball python shown in an ad or pictured on our website is the actual ball python that is available for sale. We will provide detailed information about the history of the individual ball python you are interested in if asked. All ball pythons are guaranteed to be accurately represented with respect to sex, genetics, and coloration. However, lighting conditions, ball python age, mood, shed cycles, camera settings and many other factors interact to affect color. For these reasons, we cannot replace a ball python purchased based on appearance unless the wrong ball python was actually sent. We are not 'photoshopping' pics or enriching colors in any other way. We do our best to make sure the picture you see is as accurate as possible. If you would like more pictures of the ball python of interest, or even in different lighting, just ask. Genetics of our animals are guaranteed and can be provided in writing if you wish. We want happy customers!
Now, prices listed on the site do not include shipping charges. Ball Pythons are shipped via FedEx priority next day air through ShipYourReptiles.com. If shipping is needed, we will contact you shortly to discuss shipping. We are not responsible for delays in shipping related to carrier errors. We only ship Monday through Wednesday (usually one of these days a week that works for all locations being shipped to). Furthermore, the live arrival guarantee is null and void if you are not available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt by the shipping carrier. All shipping charges are non-refundable. We reserve the right to make the final determination as to whether or not to ship. The welfare of the ball pythons is most important to us and we will not ship if we have any concerns that the ball python will not survive the trip. We ship in insulated boxes and will include hot or cold packs when it is appropriate.
Returns and Guarantees
We guarantee all of our ball pythons to arrive alive and healthy. Notification of problems (shipping or otherwise) must be given to us within 6 hours of arrival. If major problems occur (death, illness, etc.), we may ask for proof (photographs, video, dead specimens returned, etc) from you. In the event a ball python arrives dead, we will probably have a good cry and then make every effort to replace the ball python with a similar individual. If we cannot agree on a suitable replacement, we will refund your purchase price minus the original shipping charges. If you are unhappy with the ball python, you may return it to us (healthy) at your expense and we will provide a credit toward a future purchase minus any shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee; unless the return is due to a pre-existing health condition (we may ask for proof) in which case shipping charges may be refunded as well. Its a great idea to use camcorders or phone cams to record as you open the box. Its a very simple way to provide proof of any issue found. We will do as much as we can to do right by you should anything negative occur.
We accept payments via Cash, reputable Money Orders, PayPal (email@example.com) or Square. Payment is due at the time the price is agreed upon. Ball pythons will NOT be held without any payment. In the case where two people simultaneously pay for a ball python, the person whose payment arrived first will receive the ball python and the other person will be refunded their money. Ball pythons can be held for up to two weeks with a 25% non-refundable deposit. Should you fail to pay the remainder of your balance within the two week time period, the ball python(s) will be re-listed for sale and your deposit can be used as a credit toward a future purchase. However, if you make a deposit on a baby ball python that is not ready to go home/be shipped to you yet, and the baby ball python fails to thrive, your deposit is completely refundable. We occasionally allow payment plans for our ball pythons, just ask. We reserve the right to refuse sale to you if at any time during our conversations we feel that selling the ball python to you is not in the best interests of the ball python or the ball python trade in general.
We assume you alone, the buyer, know your own state and local laws where you live, you are abiding by them, and you are making a legal purchase. We do NOT know state or local laws where you live and we will not intentionally break those laws. Please review your state and local laws concerning ball python ownership before making a purchase.
Wobbles, kinks, etc.
We assume you know any ball python morphs based upon the 'spider' mutation will have some amount of 'wobble' to them. If we see anything that we deem 'serious', that might affect the ball python's survival, eating or breeding ability, we will point it out in the ad and/or on the website. We will also point out any kinks or any other irregularities in ads, the website, and the baby documentation. We will NOT intentionally try to deceive or mislead anyone about anything!
